Theatre Package
The much sought after
little mountain village of Highlands, North Carolina has
an unbelievable "three" (3) theatre companies:
Highlands Playhouse, a professional summer stock company
(66 years old with a limited summer season); Highlands Community
Players (year round community theatre); The Instant Theatre
Company (one of the most professional and popular theatre
companies in Western North Carolina).
The Instant Theatre Company provides eclectic,
innovative, provocative and hilarious entertainment of all
genres from live music, and improvisation, to top comedians
and premier plays showcasing local and celebrity talent
from all over the United States and most recently Europe.
We are very excited to announce that we have created an
exclusive Theatre Package with the Instant Theatre Company
that we are offering for the entire 2008 High Season schedule
of the Instant Theatre Company and Fire Mountain. When you
reserve your "two night" Fire Mountain
Theatre Package during any of the dates listed
below it will include "two" (2) tickets to the
Instant Theatre Company's current running performance held
in their performing venue "Studio on Main" with
a complimentary cocktail before the show along with a very
special in-room amenity provided especially for your arrival
at Fire Mountain.

Skies" in concert.
Jennifer
& Jonathon Adams create a new acoustic sound with the
pairing of guitar and cello, ranging from Vivaldi and Bach
to Rush and Pink Floyd to their own award winning compositions.

Darrow”
Adapted
from the novel by David W. Rintels form the book by Irving
Stone, Clarence Darrow for the Defense.

“Second
Lady” by M Kilburg Reedy
A
remarkable award winning play about a fictional political
wife who has mislaid her prepared remarks and must draw
on her experience and recollections to fulfill a speaking
engagement on behalf of her husband.

Steve
Gillette and Cindy Mangsen in Concert
Steve
is a legendary folk songwriter, guitarist and singer. His
wife Cindy sings with a rare voice that radiates smoke and
crystal.

19th - 20th
“The
Diaries of Adam and Eve” by Mark Twain. This wonderful
dramatization of the creation story as only Mr. Twain can
tell it!
October
11th
"Love
Letters" by A.R. Gurney
Famed
stage and screen actress Collin Wilcox will team up with
New York movie critic and actor Rex Reed to bring a touching
story of letters between two friends over a period of a
lifetime. Date not yet confirmed.

"The
Housekeeper" by James Prideaux
A
hilarious comedy of amorous faux pas. Costarring David Milford
and Madeline Davis
