LIFE AS IT SHOULD BE

Our Stay at Fire Mountain was absolute bliss. Views from every room are spectacular. Breakfast at Cloud 7 was amazing! We hiked the beautiful trails on the property, visited the secret waterfall and then scooted into town for dinner.

What a secret gem! Almost don't want to tell anyone. Fire Mountain Resort was a respit from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We stay in a beautiful Mountain view room in Highlands Lodge. Woke up to spectacular sunrises and shared wine in the evenings on the Sunset Deck. There were so many things to do that we extended our stay. The Vineyards is just down the hill, along with a few other restaurants. Highlands has amazing Restaurants and Shopping but, to our Surprise, we discovered Clayton, an equally charming down just 20 min away that has a booming restaurant scene. Also rented a boat on lake Rabun. We already booked our next stay!

We've been bringing the kids to Highlands for years and I have to say that our stay at Fire Mountain was one of the best. Rented one of the Cabins. It was fully equipped and had a hot tub on the deck which we used quite a lot. The kids loved roasting Marsh mellows by the firepit in the evenings. They absolutely loved the Mountain Roller Coaster, Snow tubbing and ziplining and the live music at the Vineyard on weekends.
